WHY change our Companions' diet?

Through Tomojo, we wanted to offer dog and cat owners a new alternative: a balanced recipe for our animals while working towards sustainable development.

And for the little story

Behind Tomojo, there are two childhood friends, Madeleine and Paola, a militant dog (Mojo) and an eco-friendly cat (Hiro). Everyone agrees that we must act for the planet by consuming differently! “One evening, I was watching Mojo, who weighs 50kg and I thought that even though I was paying attention to my meat consumption, he ate it every day and that maybe that is where we should start."

The two childhood friends found themselves studying for the same Master's degree in Environmental Sciences in London in 2015. They returned to France and embarked on entrepreneurship by participating in Ticket For Change. Their idea was to find a less polluting alternative to meat. It was then that they discovered insect protein and their nutritional benefits. They sought help from a veterinarian specialising in animal nutrition and two researchers from AgroParisTech to formulate the first Tomojo kibble.
